INOP Charts

Hi the app is not working, it’s written INOP when I try to open the charts. What’s the matter ?

Same problem after the Navagraph and Simlink update. I have uninstalled, reinstalled, deinstalled, reinstalled, and again to no avail.

Windows 11, FSX-SE Also checked on Android tablet with Charts App previously working now crashes. All worked before the update. From what I’m observing, I’m guessing the problem is with the new Simlink update. Simlink v1.1.33.1910

Hi! Welcome to the forum, thanks for the feedback!

I have enabled more logging on your accounts. Please try again, and I’ll see if I can spot anything!

Please provide as much details as possible:

  • OS (including version)
  • Platform (Web, desktop, iOS, Android, Panel)
  • Version number in settings
  • Any steps taken to get the issue

Kind Regards,
Malte

Hello, when I open it works and after a few seconds INOP something did not work, I just installed sim brief, a link between the two?

Originally incorrectly posted in French:
Bonjour, quand j’ouvre ça marche et au bout de quelques secondes INOP quelque chose n’a pas fonctionné, je viens d’installer sim brief, un lien entre les deux ?

EDIT: Fixed incorrect language.

Today after UPgt I have the same problem when opening Navgraph msg INOP and nothing (I use FSX)

@Arthurito87 Please stick to English in this English forum. I translated your message using Google Translate, but please do so yourself next time.

I assume that you mean Simlink and not SimBrief?

@joaoperalta After today’s [update] of which application? Simlink or Charts?

Kind Regards,
Malte

I apologise, it is SIMLINK

Joao

Are you still having this issue? If that is the case, could you sign out and then in again in the Navigraph Charts app and see if the issue still occurs?

Kind Regards,
Malte

I see no logs or activity from your account. Have you signed out and then in again and still seen the issue?

To everyone in this thread: Make sure that you also update the Simlink plugins!

This is really important. Simlink should do this automatically, but it looks like it could fail in some scenarios. To make sure, open the Plugin settings, uninstall all plugins and then install them again.

Malte

Same Problem - after update the INOP sign appears with the text: Something didn’t work out as expected.

how I can open / uninstall plugins?

Log off and on twice, same failure. I Always check plug-in status.

Uninstalled Plug-ins and reinstall, No Joy

We seem to have identified an issue with FSX specifically, where incorrect data is sent by Simlink to the charts app ultimately causing INOP. We’re looking into this, but keep in mind that it is after working hours and tomorrow is the weekend! We’ll fix it as soon as possible.

Please see this post: Can't connect to x-plane 12 - #2 by vishalahir

How about sending the previous version of Simlink and if needed Navigraph Charts. Shame to be down all weekend. Lesson Learned - Don’t release an update on Fridays!

Of course, don’t worry. I am not at my computer right now, but we’ll provide the old version ASAP.

Sorry for the inconvenience!
