Navigraph Hub Installation Error

Hello,

I tried to install Navigraph Hub to be used with FS 2024, which worked successfully at the beginning, and I was able to install Simbrief. However, I wasn’t able to import the OFP into the inibuilds A330 EFB, so I searched for the Navigraph Hub app to verify settings, but I wasn’t able to find it anywhere on my PC. I clicked on the NavigraphHub.exe installer to try to reinstall it, but I got an error message saying “Navigraph Hub cannot be closed. Please close it manually and click Retry to continue.” I also now get a Javascript error message when I startup my PC.

I tried the steps that were given in similar posts (updated java, restarted computer, etc.) but no luck. I tried to uninstall Navigraph Hub, but my computer doesn’t find it. I only found the Navigraph and Simbrief related folders, which I deleted to try and manually uninstall everything for a clean reinstallation.

Still no luck, and I continue to get both error messages. Thanks in advance for your help.

I am having the same problem. Same messages as well. I have deleted the hub from my computer, re- started the computer and have the same set of messages as the OP.

Any solution available from anyone by any chance?

Hi…,

Please see A JavaScript error occurred in the main process and Navigraph Hub Disappears.

Make sure you download and install the very latest Hub and restart your machine.

I just wanted to share the solution to some issues that I was experiencing when trying to install Navigraph Hub as well as when trying to import the Simbrief OFP to the onboard EFB and MCDU. I was going to post it under my original thread, but it had just automatically closed. Thank you for your help, Ian.

Solutions that finally worked:
I launched the Task Manager and clicked on “More Details” at the bottom to expand it and finally caught the hidden processes using Navigraph under “Background Processes.” Once I ended those tasks, I was able to remove the old folders and install Navigraph Hub properly.

The other issue I was having was trouble importing the Simbrief OFP into my onboard EFB. It’s because under the EFB “Options” tab, I had entered my Simbrief Username instead of my Simbrief ID (which I found in the EFB that pops up when you click the icon in the game menu.)

I wrote all of this in case anyone reading is having the same issues. Sorry, I’m a bit of a beginner with these new simulator editions. The last version I played with before 2020 was FS 2004… yes back in 2004.

Cheers.
