Problem installing Navigraph Hub

Had a problem installing the hub, tried to uninstall and reinstall but the program appears to have become corrupted. I get the below message every time my windows 11 pc restarts.
“A Java Script error occurred in the main process”
Uncaught exception
Error: Failed to load image from path
I have a screen shot of the whole error message but cant seem to upload it

Hi @Bravesirtim,

We have identified this as a bug in the uninstaller for version 1.2.13. The uninstaller does not perform the uninstallation cleanly, sometimes leaving instances of the old version of Hub in memory, which leads to a corrupted installation of the next version. This is fixed from version 1.2.14.

To install the current version (1.2.15) safely, close Hub by right-clicking the tray icon and pressing “Quit.”. Verify in Task Manager that there are no “Navigraph Hub” processes, in such case kill them.

Then uninstall Navigraph Hub using “Add/Remove Programs” in the control panel. Download the latest version from https://dl.navigraph-cdn.com/software/navigraph/windows/Navigraph%20Hub.exe and install.

Kind regards,

Markus

I am having difficulty with installation/removal of the Navigraph hub. I have been getting javascript errors repeatedly after having removed Navigraph hub. I have attempted to reinstall and uninstall Navigraph hub, but I get an error message with instruction to close Navigraph hub yet the process is not running in my task manager.. The application has run installation, but cannot be opened. It is very frustrating. I have not even been able to use Navigraph as it requires a subscription - which I do not have. All it has brought me is javascript errors and installation issues. The installer is bugged, the app is not usable and it’s created irritating errors that are difficult to fix. I still cannot see Navigraph in my programs after attempting reinstallation and still cannot uninstall the program.

Other than SimBrief free, Navigraph applications including Hub require a subscription. I am unclear why you have installed Hub?

To remove it, please try the steps given by Markus above.

Cheers
Ian

Hi Ian
I have a navigraph subscription but since my post I’ve managed to uninstall it manually and reinstall it now with no errors. Thanks for your help,
