Hi,
I’ve noticed that the ILS for ZSHC (Hangzhou Xiaoshan) seems to be offset when using the FSLabs A320. The aircraft doesn’t follow the localizer properly and lines up next to the runway instead of on it.
Interestingly, the same ILS works perfectly fine in the Fenix A320, so I believe this might be an issue specific to FSLabs or the navdata it’s using.
Can anyone else confirm this? Is this a known issue, or should I file a bug report?
Thanks in advance!
Hi,
Yes, that could happen. FSLabs is the only add-on for which we must use their converter to generate the database, so we have no influence on what happens here. For all other add-ons, we have developed the exporter and can make adjustments, like aligning the ILSes.
That is why the same works in Fenix but not in FSLabs. Chinese airports are not very accurate because they don´t offer all the information in their AIP. Sometimes, the loc antennas’ positions are wrong and, therefore, offset (like in this case). We try to adapt the coordinates to be center-lined in our tools. We can´t do this for FSLabs because we must use their converter.
I’m sorry, but in this case, we have no chance to offer you a fix. The fix must come from FSLabs, they must adapt the coordinates for the localizer antenna.
