"Synch with Flight"

What is the function and role of “Synch with Flight” that appears at the bottom of Navigraph window when you click on “New flight”.

The second question is there a way for Navigraph to read a flight plan created within MSFS?

Hi…,

  1. Pinning is selecting charts for quick access in the pinned list at bottom of Charts screen.
Synch with Flight causes the automatic pinning of certain charts from the current flight plan.
You will typically see the Airport Info and SID chart pinned for the Origin airport, and Arrival and Airport Info for the Destination airport.
If you prefer to pin charts yourself without them being automatically selected or updated by changes in the Flight, you can unselect Synch with Flight.

  2. In MSFS you can Save a Flight, noting where it is saved.
In Navigraph Charts, you would then Import Flight\Import from File, navigating to the location where it was saved, and selecting the pln file for import.
Typically the file location is something like:
C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalState, then not needing to re navigate to it.

Cheers
Ian
