Still having problems with logging into simlink, however here is some information that I’ve discovered about the problem.
Even though the simlink is showing not logged in, I am logged in when using the Microsoft simulator and using the map feature inside avionics screen including the moving icon. Also I am showing myself also logged in using the VR navigraph plugin, but do not have a moving icon.
Also when I try to log in to the simlink window it may fail automatically or it may log me in for a short time (15+ minutes) but if I exit out to the main window in Microsoft flight simulator, the simlink window shows that I am logged out again. One more thing, is I do not get the little window to link simlink.
I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but continue to either log into or stay logged in simlink only.
Thank you Vishahir. This issue started 3 days ago, I had used the sim the night before and everything worked as usual. The next day, I turned on my monitor to have the hub and simlink windows waiting for me to log in as they both indicated that I had been logged out. Let me know if you need screenshots or my log file.
Could you please send us the Simlink log files? They are located at %APPDATA%/Navigraph/Simlink/logs.
If you are logged out of both Navigraph Hub and Simlink, please check your network settings. If the issue persists, consider checking your network router settings or restarting your router.
Let us know if you experience any issues with the Navigraph product.
Major, MAJOR problems with Simlink dropping off dozens of times here today. Log is full of errors, mostly these:
"LoginController::login_oidcError[7] [We had problems authenticating your account. Please check that your computer time is correct and try again.]
And also these:
[ERROR] OIDC_refresh_tokens ERROR:response json contains no ‘access token’: {“error”:“invalid grant”}
These are not router problems. Everything was working fine for months until today. I do not use proxy nor VPN. My computer time is good. I am experiencing recurring dropouts where I am asked over and over to sign in again–I’ve tried and seen the same problems on three different PCs and two tablets. Same problems with Simbrief, Charts, Desktop, and Simlink.
Same problem with recurring disconnections and requests to login again today. I have turned the debug logging on, and am attaching it here. First disconnect of the day at line 204892 in the file.
I’ve rebooted my router, do not use proxy or VPN, have uninstalled/reinstalled Simlink, run it as admin, checked that time is properly synced…nothing is stopping the constant disconnects and requests to login again during a flight.
I am not having any problems with connectivity to any other application, including maintaining a steady stream of data to MSFS itself. From the logs, it looks like your auth servers are not responding when reauthorization is requested (and also sometimes when first trying to sign in).
I worked directly with @vishalahir on Friday afternoon. Apparently they are aware of what’s causing the issue now and will be putting out a fix for simlink soon. Hopefully really soon because this problem is getting super annoying at best.
Thank you all for going through all the madding process of trying to see where the disconnect lies (no pun intended). I myself have spent 4 days of frustration checking, trying this - trying that to the point of finally had given up trying to change everything on my computer to make sure the problem did not exist on my end. I feel such relief of being validated that my system is not the problem. And thank you, Vishalahir for your patience and willingness to work with qazme1982 to figure where the problem lies.
No proxy, no VPN. Router is OK before and after a reboot. Both the folder and the process have been excluded in Windows Defender. Time is correct and updated automatically.
The interval between dropouts seems longer than a few days ago. Once it did disconnect, it didn’t want to reconnect…each attempt product a “You have been logged out” or similar and a progress wheel than ended in another “Sign In” screen.
We have identified the issue causing the Simlink application to auto-logout while a flight is running in Flight Simulator. We will be releasing an update for Simlink soon, which will resolve this logout problem.
Thank you for your patience, and you can expect the Simlink update shortly.
