There are number of suggestions at NGXU EFB Connection Error - PMDG Simulations .

These include:

  1. Ensuring your computer clock is synchronised to current real time,
  2. From EFB System Page, selecting RESTART EFB

If no joy, I would try some of the other suggestions there.
