I’ve looked at simular post to my problem and I still cant
get my SID or STAR at KORD
Hi,
what do you use, that the content.xml file is changed?
Because the active
Element is normally AFTER the name
- also it looks very sorted … So you must use any software behind, that re-org your content.xml
file in some ways.
I would recommend:
content.xml
filePlease upload the new created content.xml
file here.
Thank you,
Richard
Please can you upload the file and not a screenshot? Simple copy the file in the topic/answer thats it …
Again, which software do you use, that this file will be re-sorted? Do you use Addon-Linker or similar else? Because it looks very un-common …
With the FSDT KORD scenery installed:
Cheers
Richard
And I use Addon Linker, I also adjusted my ORD because that’s what the other post said. But now its back to the original state
Content.xml (9.0 KB)
Ok, first … when able, please DON´T sort this file. The order has an effect in the sim and also between the packages. Please believe me, I can´t say this enough … PLEASE don´t order this file. You can use the AddonLinker that´s no problem, but please let the order do by the sim and not by any other external program. All assumption with filenames, add a prefix, blablabla are wrong and you run only into more troubles and get strange effects. Please, please, please believe me …
To your issue - have you tried it now in the sim? Still no procedures?
Cheers
Richard
Ok I wont touch the order, the content.xml should be fine since I deleted the old one. And yes still no procedures.
Ok, please can you post a screenshot:
of the KORD runway window, like:
your flightplan (from-to with the complete routing) like:
Thank you,
Richard
There are no SIDs in KORD because all SIDs are vector-based … when you can only select a STAR. So please when KORD is the arrival airport - if you have STARs and Approaches …
Cheers,
Richard
Ohhhh ok, I think that answers my question. So when I am doing my Flight Plan, will a SID show up? Because there are STARs now
Cool, normally you have SIDs yes, but only when the airport has one … in KORD there are only one SID, the O´HARE 7 Departure but this SID is vector-based only so can´t be coded and therefore you have no SIDs at KORD.
KORD is very special in this case, but again normally, when you plan a flight from A to B you should have SIDs and STARs, but to be 100% sure, you should look on the charts also.
Thank you,
Richard
Hahaha So I did’t really have an issue, just didn’t know ORD had no SID’s, Thanks!
Seems so yes …
Happy flying,
Richard
