New potential customer question about NavData Pro to Navagraph

Hello all, I have a quick pre-purchase question. I am kind of new to using these add-on Nav data tools, so please bear with me.

I have had the NavData Pro and Charts add-on tool for the past year, and so far it seems ok. there are some small things about it I don’t care for, but for the most part its works. but Now that my year is up for renewal I would like to give Navigraph a try.

I have the Aivlasoft EFB2 and I also use ProToATC 2020, as well as some other flight planers, and I was just wondering, Is there ANYTHING I need to do before trying to Install Navigraph?

I have the AS CRJ Pro and the A319-321 and 330, and the PMDG NGx, 777, and I also have some Carenado planes/jets. All of these are the newest installers installed into a (almost) year old P3Dv5.1 installation.

I have MSFS 2020 but for now I am just flying around in my Cessna until they get that one working a bit better.

I’m hoping I won’t need to reinstall my simulator and this will be an easy process, but I figured I would ask first.

PS: I also am a regular over at the AVSIM forums, and I actually read a post by a guy who said that he “somehow” uses both of these addons? So I am assuming (hoping) that going from one to the other is not a huge deal.

thanks

Hi Rob,

Welcome.

All of the addons you mention (assuming you meant Pilot2ATC) are supported in our FMS Data Manager, so you should be able to install new FMS data without hassle. For AS Airbus, run their configurators to switch to Navigraph as data source. Our FMS Data is very comprehensive, and especially so for our MSFS Beta.

You shouldn’t need to reinstall your Flight Simulator(s) or addons.

Our Charts operate across many platforms (Windows, macOS, iOS and Android). The Moving Map feature requires an install of Navigraph Simlink on your FS machine, and works well.

We have a great forum here where customers and support staff share their knowledge. If you have any questions we shall be pleased to assist.

We look forward to welcoming you as a valued customer.

Cheers
Ian

Hello Ian, thanks for getting back to me so quickly.

I did mean Pilot2ATC sorry, lol my mistake.

It sounds like all I have to do is install the new Navigraph data with the data manager and it will replace the NavData Pro? Sounds easy.

And I can run the configurators for the Aerosoft stuff, that’s not a problem.

I’ll give it a go and see if everything works ok.

thanks for the welcome!!
Rob
