After installing Navigraph Navdata, most airports were marked with a custom scenery icon. This is a bit annoying because it makes it harder to figure out if it’s really a custom airport or not.
I found a little workaround for this “annoying” problem.
All you need to do is fix the manifest.json file
By changing the value of “creator” from “Navigraph” to “Asobo Studio” - custom scenery icons will disappear from all airports. And I can see again which airports I have custom. This changes is only affect to showing small subicon in world map.
P.S. So, as I have great respect for the Navigraph company - its name can be transferred to “manufacturer”: “Navigraph / Jeppesen”
P.S.S. Sorry for my google translate =\
Hi again Maksim,
I have now made some tests and indeed, the icon disappears when the creator is “Asobo Studio” but when you look on the content-page, it looks quite strange and of course, according legal wrong:
Sorry, but thats no solution for us and or course to legal
Cheers,
Richard
That sollution for end users, not for Navigraph company.
For Navigraph i’d recommend to contact Asobo Studios so that they add your company to the exclusion list for displaying custom scenery
