Missing Flightroute in B-747-8

I know this is an old post, but this problem affects me in general. There was a time when the aircraft (747-8 ASOBO) flew all waypoints as it should. However, for quite some time now, I have been importing flight plans into MSFS2020, and after takeoff, the aircraft flies directly to the destination airport. The route points have also not been transferred to the cockpit display. As far as I know, I have installed everything with new airacs. Or is there a trick to get version 2509 into FS2020? I thought that would happen automatically with the navi hub? Where is the problem?

From KSFO to Orca.. and then the plane follow direct NUGRA..4120 NM away…

NUGRA in the follow picture is the endpoin of the entire route. so the route was complete not integrated in the plane..

Hi
One question:
Does this happen when you don’t use our data too? So, when you uninstall our data from the Hub?

Cheers
Richard

One question:

It’s not just with Boeing. It’s been happening for about four weeks now. I have the feeling that the automatic setting doesn’t take over the entire flight plan from the flight route starting with the takeoff procedure. After that, the flight plan is simply missing. I uninstalled and reinstalled it, but nothing changed. As I said, it sometimes appears on the display and sometimes it doesn’t. I got confused when trying to narrow down the error. As I said, the problem has only been there for about 4 weeks. I just didn’t dare to discuss the problem here right away.

you can see the another waypoints working after ( NUGRA )
without your datas i cannot file the plan over navigraph…(

what i dont have testet is..only the plan using from simbrief allone…

Hi Jonas,
Please can you describe in more detail how you import the route? Starting from scratch (from Simbrief), please …

Thank you
Richard

Hello Richard

First of all, it’s clear that all AIRACS are up to date. I create the flight plan from A to B as normal, then “calculate & compare,” then generate and transfer to Navigraph. In Navigraph, everything except the runway or approach procedure is adjusted so that the route is completely closed on the monitor without dashed lines during the approach or departure procedure. However, I noticed a dotted line in the route monitor, which clearly indicates that something in SimBrief or Navigraph is displaying the nonstop flight completely without a flight plan. Therefore, it cannot be MSFS. On the other hand, I have now noticed in retrospect that some settings need to be adjusted in SimBrief. I previously thought that these should not be touched and are set for the aircraft type by the manufacturer. Maybe that’s where the error lies??? I’ve attached some pictures here. I hope I’m not annoying you with this!

Can you see the flight path in the image above? That continuous dotted line?

NEXT… “generate flight”

THESE SETTINGS?? Could they be the reason why the flight route is not displayed on the flight display later on in the aircraft? The following image shows the same thing.

this all is under AIRCRAFT INFO next picture

I hope I was able to narrow down the error a bit? Until now, the settings of the machines were always synchronized. However, I don’t know when something changed. It could be an incorrect default setting. I thought SimBrief and Navigraph were one company, one system. I usually save the flight via Navigraph only and then transfer the flight plan to the cockpit using the in-cockpit transfer in the flight simulator, rather than in the previous flight plan selection window in the simulator. It is saved by Navigraph as an MSFS 2020 flight plan.
in the picture on the EXPORT Button above…as example before the flight beginns..

Only now can I see how the flight ends directly. It’s GPS on the display. I don’t understand anything anymore. My flight routines were always correct before, until a few weeks ago when I started doing this. No approach procedure visible, only the end point FAOR, even though the flight plan has everything in it.

wrong Chart Mode?

(AIRACS all up to date…i,m paying Member long time )

Hi Jonas,
May I ask a question? Why the additional steps in the charts? Why do you export the flightplan directly from SimBrief to MSFS?

It is highly recommended that you enter the terminal procedures directly in the aircraft and NOT transfer them via a flightplan. SimBrief, for example, doesn´t add these parts to its export.

But I haven´t understood your workflow - specially the reason for that:
Simbrief → Navigraph Charts → MSFS aircraft

Why not only:
Simbrief → MSFS aircraft?

Cheers,
Richard

No, I export the flight plan from Simbrief to Navigraph as described. I adjust the approach procedures there, which has always worked, and then save the flight plan as MSFS2020pln. Only then do I start the simulator and go to the bar at the top where Navigraph is located in the simulator (cockpit view) and import the flight plan. The flight plan is then immediately visible on the display. Everything used to work great. Why not anymore?

next i using only simbrief ..
but why and for what is navigraph online then?

Die Screenshots habe ich während meines laufenden Fluges gemacht.Die Prozedur vor dem Start findet natürlich statt an der Gate.

The key point in this whole story is that, regardless of how I transfer something, the error is not in the transfer but in the flight plan. In the last two images, you can clearly see that, without me transferring a flight from Simbrief or Navigraph to MSFS, MSFS2020 shows that the flight route in Navigraph contains this “NONSTOP” dashed flight route and displays it next to the normal flight plan. So where is the problem? With Simbrief or Navigraph? It has nothing to do with MSFS and my procedure in the flight simulator. Why does Navigraph or Simbrief only transfer this dashed route? I have never seen this before, by the way. Is it because of the settings in Simbrief or Navigraph that I have set something wrong there?

Sorry, direkt in MSFS with Simbrief its working,…
i hope you not angry now…
Heiliger Müll völlig irritierend mit Navigraph…

Thanks for your Support Richard

Nein, nein keine Sorge Jonas . Thanks for the feedback, but I will try your way too, to identify what happens here.

Danke und schönes Wochenende
Richard
