I flew into MDPP with the PMDG737, all navdata updated for the plane and the sim. Runways were listed as 1/18 instead of 8/26. I flew out of MDPP with the A300 (it does not use Navigraph for the FMC/Tablet) and the same thing showed up as 1/18 instead of 8/26. Ideas?
Inside of the DAT file for the 738 I found this
AP;MDPP;GREGORIO LUPERON INTL ;19.757900;-70.570033;17
RW;08;19.753967;-70.583617;17;0;084;084;10106
RW;26;19.761739;-70.556692;17;0;264;264;10106
This looks normal. I am guessing that there may be an error in the sim data bgl used by Navigraph for that area. I can’t check the bgl, so don’t know.
Hi,
runway information (when they exist in the stock data) are coming from the MSFS data itself. We can’t and may not change/add runways or there idents. As you see in the PMDG files, we have the correct runways vut the scenery in MSFS is outdated.
So please report this to ASOBO/MS … this is not a navdata issue.
Thank you
Richard
Ok, will do. Thanks for the heads up!
What exactly does the Navigraph Base Package (AIRAC only) do in the sim?
Our updates contains the worldwide coverage of terminal procedures (Sids, Stars, Iaps) plus we add none (in MSFS stock data) existing airports/runways.
There are a lot of other minor improvements included (like ILS, ranges, …) which are not in the stock data and/or at least in that quality.
We would also like to change the runways but thats a copright issue and also a technical issue because ASOBO/MS hasn’t consist that point and therefore it is bot so easy to change it even when (as you see) we have the correct data.
Hope that helps
Richard
