Hello guys, I am relatively new to Navigraph, I am a VR flyer, I have been looking for how to orientate the Map North facing, but cannot find it.
On the desktop version there 2 ways to do it, on the Plane Icon and in setting, unfortunately, these 2 options are missing in the MSFS toolbar panel Navigraph charts.
Please can someone help me with this please, or is this a blatantly omitted functionality.

This feature is not technically possible in our in-game panel. The map technology that can be used inside the simulator is extremely limited which means that we cannot use the powerful data-driven maps that we use in our web, desktop, and native (iOS/Android) apps.
While we could technically rotate the map, it would be rather useless since the text and symbology would not adapt - meaning that the map would almost never be readable.
We apologize for the inconvenience, there is nothing we can do to improve this situation given the environment that the simulator provides us with at the moment, unfortunately.

Oh no ! this is sad, I just bought a subscription today, and this is my most valued feature to do VFR sight seeing 
I hope you will include this feature in MSFS2024, if that sim gives you the functionality. I guess I have to use FSDesktop addon to display the Navigraph desktop panel in sim, hopefully that works.

I can almost guarantee you that this will not change in FS2024 - the core part that is the main limiting factor in this scenario is not developed by Asobo - and they already use the latest available version.
In general, it is a terrible idea to run such a powerful map inside of the simulator anyways - since the simulator is forced to share resources with the map in that scenario which will bring the performance way down.
Using something to bring our desktop app into VR is always going to be the preferred option by far, regardless of the simulator version or any upcoming updates to it! We might explore such a feature ourselves in the future, but it is currently not on the roadmap.
Sorry for the disappointment! If you feel like this breaks the product for you then we will happily terminate and refund the subscription.

I tried the FSDesktop option, yes the map orientates north, but I cannot interact with the panel subsequently, its locked up.
I think I will just take your offer, I really feel like this breaks the product for me, I will want you to help terminate and refund the subscription.
