Trying to understand why the KVNY LDA-C is not in the Van Nuys approach selection in the G3000 or G1000 based aircraft in MSFS 2020. Is this due to data related conflicts where an ILS for KBUR (Burbank) is being used as the LDA for Van Nuys?
What triggered this is Pilotedge’s use of the LDA-C at Van Nuys in one of their development circuits (Sky High flight #1). Have to go manual for this approach, unable to configure it into the Flight Plan in G3000 / G1000. I know this is a MSFS or Working Title thing, but just wondered in terms of the root data coming in from the Navigraph data hub.
If I had to guess, that is because the procedure is NOTAMd in real life right now as the VTU VOR is out of service and it is the missed approach holding point of that approach.
Philipp is correct, at least at the moment the LDA-C approach is disabled according the NOTAM:
