KSNA ILS 20R Incorrect

The ILS 20R for KSNA has mismatched LOC data. The FMC data is 111.75 for LOC with a CRS of 196.

The chart data reads LOC 108.3 with a CRS of 183. Obviously this is a mismatch and caused my VNAV to disconnect on final.

Please correct- I almost crashed in IMC today lol.

Edit: This is flying the PMDG 737-8 with the latest AIRAC. Also I noticed there was a previous post regarding this issue in Dec 24 with no reply.

No, you must be looking at the chart for the LDA approach (11-3 in Navigraph Charts), which is an offset localizer approach (not aligned with the runway).

The actual ILS is on 111.75 at 196° on both charts (11-2, 11-2B in Navigraph Charts) and in the data.

Here are the FAA charts for the ILS:

Here is the FAA chart for the LDA (not an ILS):

The chart states 111.75, with a final approach course of 196

The approach ref in the FMC states 108.3 with a final approach course of 183.

I submit that your previous answer is not the solution to this problem. And how do you consider the problem answered without verification?

I did not mark the issue as answered, Navigraph staff did (only yourself or forum staff can mark your topic as answered).

As for my answer, it covers the issue you originally submitted:

Your second post with screenshots presents the exact opposite situation (FMC data with 108.3/183 and charts with 111.75/196).

I am not familiar enough with the PMDG to explain why this happens.

Tim

Hi again,
This is a PMDG issue, and they know it, but it needs time to fix it on their side. The problem is sorting the records in the database when you have multiple frequencies for one runway, like here.

I will try to make a workaround, but it’s not a navdata issue.

Cheers
