Hi,
I assume you have different SimLink versions installed somewhere. It´s not a stability issue of the software because as you see, you are the only one with such strange issues. When this would really be a general issue, you can be sure, that you would see a lot!! more reports here in the forum.
Further, your initial posting was the “incorrect ground speed” and you have written a lot about this before - no word about that SimLink isn´t working or the software is not stable enough.
So, it´s not a stability issue it´s something strange on your system, which you should be fixed first.
Therefore a few more requests, according your posted screenshots:
Do you have multiple XP 11 or XP 12 versions installed on your system or do you have only one XP 11 installation, or only one XP 12 installation?
I would uninstall Simlink via the button first for all X-Plane versions. Further delete all Resources folder in your Output - folder, this is simple not the right location.
Install Simlink into the <xp-root> folder - no other sub-folder … like on my system:
I can´t answer all of this - I see only, that the paths are not correct and therefore the installation itself is not correct. The paths will normally detect automatically - so someone or something must be change this paths, but anyway they are wrong and you should fix this first before we make any follow ups.
Please when you are ready, post a screenshot of the Plugin Status page in Simlink:
OK, I will try to uninstall all Nav + Simlink soft , and also delete the ressources in the output
then reinstall ; I hope that the installation soft will place all in the good directory
I let you informed
Are you really sure, that you use the latest Simlink version? Please (as I have mentioned), can you post the PLUGIN STATUS from Simlink (the whole window please), that I see the version number.
Once again, I will destroy all relatives to Navigraph, taking care of no more in the computer, and reload all, because I discovered many data lying in the user’s directory ; perhaps there is an influence
Sir, is it possible to read and follow the instructions as written … We try to help you but it makes many things so difficult, when we start again and again at zero …
I mean (as I have requested before) the Simlink version and not any other chart-version or similar else. Open Simlink please → goto Plugin Status and post the WHOLE window what you see.
Further, please upload the both files what I have requested. This is also important … To destroy only the Navigraph apps aren´t enough - I guess, you should re-init you complete system.
By shutdown the computer and restarting, the Nav charts restart correctly, and is well connected to the XP ; position of the central arrow showing progression of the plane is also correct
But i fall again in the first problem ; false Grounspeed, no indicated altitude, no GPS track, no Rate of Turn
That is to say that I simultaneously obtain a screen saying that NAV is connected, and an other one saying it is not connected ; if I will connect again the NAV , I obtain one short message saying it is already connected
Very desapointing indeed ! and I have no explanation, since my WIN10 works well with all other applications
Under macOS, Simlink is both a plugin for the sim and an application (application acts as a link between the Navigraph servers and the plugin). Not sure if it’s the same under Windows but assuming a similar architecture it just seems like the Simlink application is not getting started when you start your computer?
