Using Xplane 12, on a Mac. Airports that have an ILS approach sharing the same frequency are not working correctly. At these airports, XP12 will only allow me to use one of them. The other never works. For example. At KPBI (West Palm Beach Florida) ILS 28R and ILS 10L both use 111.90. Same frequency but each approach uses a different identifier for the localizer. 28R is 111.90 IPWB and 10L is 111.90 IPBI. I can fly the 10L approach just fine. Everything works as it should. If I line up at the IAF for 28R it still shows the identifier for 10L and everything is backwards. It will let me fly the back course but that’s not what I want to do.
This happens on ALL aircraft. I have “disable downwind ILS” unchecked. I have experienced this at multiple airports. Not sure if this is a bug with XP or not but I use Navigraph so I thought I’d seek help here also.
Hi,
Thanks, but this is nothing what we can fix/solve sorry. We offer “only” the data but have no influence of the logic behind. Sorry. Please report this to XPlane and/or the 3rd party addon developer.
Cheers
Richard
