MSFS and X-Plane ILS Issues

It is NAVIGRAPH who cause all those ILS failliure, I got the same issues with msfs 2020 or X plane 12 or 11 same thing, NAVIGRAPH did mistake and do nothing.

Hi,

Please can you explain in more detail (which airport, which approach, which addon, do you use 3rd party sceneries, does this happen when you remove our data, description what is the exact issue,…) so that we can try to reproduce ?

You have posted two issue with charts, but I can’t find any about an ILS issue. Please provide details.

Thank you
Richard

OK, so try this filght plan in MSFS2020, or X plane 11 or 12 with IFR aircraft support it, ex, me A320 neo also any other boeing too.
For me in all those 3 flight sim I got the same issues the, or (all aircraft) I used, arrive in final off the runway.
If I left the autopilot do to near the runway, I will land in the field far from the runway, In all time I let not crash in field the airplane, when I saw I am off I disengage the autopilot to correct the approach before is too late.
I wonder if you try it on average pc, not via your network at your facility. and let me know.
For mme I did so many time with 3 different PC and all 3 flight sim on many airplanes. alway off.

There the list of airport and runway with ILS I know who they have issues with ILS.

Like this airport RJOI ILS 02 is off, very off.
Those airport too, LIRN, LFMN, KDTW. All those airport have misalligment with ILS.
LFMN both 04L and 04R ILS is off.
LIRN 06 ils is off.
KDTW 22 ILS is off.

I do not blaming you I am very tired to be send to FORUMS for find…? somethings not usefull.
If you try to looking what I repport to you may be… You get help to improve your’s product.

I lost so many times and ticket’s to msfs2020 or laminar resarch for nothing.

Hi Bertrand,
thanks for your examples and your error report. All these example are offset approaches, that means that the localizer antenna is not aligned with the center line.

When you look on the charts, you see this - look for “OFFSET LOC” and the offset under the ILS frequency.

Here LIRN 06 from your example:

Here also a question about LIRN 06 and the offset, directly here from the forum:

Hope that explains now, the offsets for you. It’s in all your examples the same reason. You use real world data in XP and MSFS … so, its no data issue.

Thank you
Richard

Hi,
to be sure, I have tried your flight into LFMN 04L (because thats a normal ILS approach, without an offset) and I have made a video, to show that the approach is aligned with the center line …

So, I assume any other issue on your side, sorry.

Approach MSFS (1.34.16.0), FBW A320 stable version and AIRAC 2310 rev. 1 installed:

Cheers,
Richard

Hi Bertrand,

I have just lined up the FBW stable V0.10.1 on LFMN RWY 04L with AIRAC 2310

When I set the ILS Freq to 109.95/042 and turn on LS display I get the correctly aligned LOC for 04L:

Please do the same on your system and post the same screenshots using

Thank you for info, do you have procedure for this kind of approach 9 ofset ) ?
How to do on this approach?

Hi,
I’m no real pilot, so please excuse when my assumption is wrong.

I think you fly the localizer/glideslope as a normal (none offset) approach. The turn to the short final (runway) should be started prior crossing the localizer signal with the extended runway center line. This is a visual procedure.

Again, I could be wrong but I fly these offset approaches in this way.

Hope that helps
Richard

Hello, yes you help and thank you, Now I will be check for thooses offset localizer. My mistake I never look carefully about the aproache chhart, now I will do it carefully.

best regards
