Since Asobo and 3rd parties are adding heliports, will Navigraph be adding the real world data into the database? I’m currently working on adding a bunch in Indiana, and they nearly all have real ICAOs, it would be nice to flight plan them.
Hi,
Could you provide us with a few examples of the missing ICAO codes, please, so we can verify them?
Thank you
Richard
I am interested in this as well. Major traffic heliports in Canada seem to be missing too. For instance, CBC7, CDH5, and CBF7 are not in the database, but their charts are available.
… the charts are available where? I can´t find any in our charts …
Cheers
Richard
Hi Richard,
I am not sure if this is related to Navigraph. Very plausible human error on my end trying to create as origin in my flight plan. Please disregard if this is unrelated! I found diagrams and the procedures here and can open in Charts.
Hi,
Thanks for the example. Indeed, we have this heliport in our database, but it is not listed in the charts. Therefore, you cannot select it for flight planning, nor can you choose the charts directly in the app.
We have over 7200 heliports in the database, but it seems they are all “missing”. I will try to determine the cause and work to resolve this issue as soon as possible. Thank you very much for this valuable hint - never tested this via the web API ![]()

Thanks for the reply! I had just figured it was user error in my end. I look forward to planning some helicopter flights. Keep up the great work!
Regards,
Don
I use the desktop app. And not a single heliport in my state shows up, and there’s well over 150 of them. They appear on the map, but are not usable for flight planning either in the app, or in the sim.
Hi again,
As I mentioned earlier, we currently have over 7,000 heliports in our database, and we will attempt to include them in the charts. You know that heliports have pads instead of runways, and therefore, we must consider how to handle this in our various apps.
Offering helipads in the sim is not so easy or impossible because there are many on buildings, not just on the surface. So, it could look crazy, or make it impossible to start from there. Here, you need the support of the many third-party scenery designers.
We have now initiated a process. This is not a task that can be completed tomorrow. We will keep you informed when our apps are up to date with the helipads as well.
Cheers
Richard
I’d be satisfied to just treat them like way points in the sim database. Some thing I can plug into the GPS.
Excellent suggestion, thank you - I will check this “solution” for the sim. ![]()

Richard
