Garmin Flight Plan Format (Incorrect File Extension)

Steps to reproduce the bug

1. Manually create a route on US Sectional Chart
2. Export the file for TDS GTN XI
3. Go to the folder path where exported.
4. Exported file is in .pln extension and not .gfp
5. File name may be ending with .gfp but the extension shows as pln

Due to this reason, flight plan not showing inside TDS GTN XI when i try to load it through the catalog.

THANK YOU for adding Export to TDS!!! AWESOME!!! There’s just one little irritating thing. (Unless I’m not bright enough to figure it out.) When I click to export, the folder where I store TDS plans opens. In the “File name:” box, the plan appears with TWO three-character extensions, e.g., KSAC-KSNS.gfp.pln “gfp” is the desired extension for TDS, and if this were merely a matter of deleting the unwanted/extra “.pln” every time before saving, I wouldn’t be here to complain.
