So whenever i try making a new flight plan the autoroute function always fail no matter what i try. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app on my pc verified it is up to date, tried unselecting the runway as suggested in another post, tried different airports as origin and destinations, im not using a vpn and only use windows defender so there should not be an issue there… idk what else to do
We are not aware of any issues with the route calculator at the moment. The fact that it happens for you on several platforms sounds peculiar!
Please provide us with the full route that you are trying to run the auto-routing feature for. Is it just between two airports, and if so which airports?
I tried changing the airports i used and it still did the same but in this specific case i used KBAK to 1M7. Its not the first time this happens to me i thought it would fix itself with an update or something so i didn’t report it right away
I can confirm that the autoroute feature fails for that airport combination. We’ll discuss this and try to find the reason internally!
Would you mind listing all combinations that you have found not to work? For example, KBAK to KCMH seems to work just fine - it’s just the 1M7 airport that causes trouble for me, even when combined with other airports!
i had tried with different origins but i had not changed 1M7 so i don’t know if there is another one. I remember this happening before this thread but i don’t remember wich airport i used back then so it could’ve been the same… sorry
No worries! Thank you for the feedback either way.
It currently looks like this might be caused by the fact that the 3-letter airport identifiers (such as 1M7) are not recognized by the route calculator, but rather the globally recognized 4-letter code K1M7 is. We will investigate and see if we can find a solution!
The team has issued a fix for this issue. Please let me know if it works as expected now! I tried using the original route that you provided and it worked out well.
