I realize this is an old thread with the last entry in Feb 2023, but this issue has just surfaced for me with the latest update in my case (July 2023)
. About 65-70% of the time now when I click for Autoroute, it “spins” for a while then returns the error “Failed to create route. Try again later”. I have used Navigraph for a least a couple of years and this is my first occurrence of this error. Any thoughts? I see in the past, the interim solution was not to select runways prior, but was fixed later.

Hi! Sorry to hear that you are having issues with our route calculator.
In order to investigate this further, could you please provide some example routes that are not working for you? Either copy the route directly or Export > Copy to Clipboard works fine, then paste them here in your reply!
I will be glad to, but I am away from home for several days. I will create some new routes and provide the info for those that encounter the problem after I return next week.
I can share that I applied the previous “work around” of not entering departing and arriving runways before “auto creating” the route without issue.
I am happy to hear that you have a workaround, and I’m looking forward to some examples of routes that are not working once you’re back!
I realize I am WAAAYY behind in following up and I apologize! I’ve had a cervical injury and been “off” a bit. I can tell you that following the recent Navigraph update, that I have not experienced the problem again. I had saved a couple of FPs, but I think it is now irrelevant. I sincerely appreciate your time and help!
