EGGP wrong CF

windows 11. Updated airac to 2102 cycle. ILS approach to EGGP runway 27 indicates CF27 and FF27. MCDU radio page shows
ILQ, which is correct, however on the PFD the ILS is shown as LVR
which is the designator for runay 09 and doesn’t change to ILQ and a 27 approach cannot be acheived. This occurs using P3D aerosoft A319 and MSFS FBW A320. I do not have this problem using the previous airac with the aerosoft A320

Hi,
I have tried to reproduce it (at least in the MSFS) but I can´t …

This was set automatically via autotune - ILS freq 111.75 is correct and also the loc-ident ILQ.

Also, I have checked the data in the database and the loc-idents are correct according the charts, when I compare it with the frequency. So, I´m not sure about the reason of your problem but the data seems to be ok … again, at least in the MSFS with the FBW A320 (using latest stable version) and the current AIRAC cycle 2201 installed.

Please can you post a screenshot of your FMC (like my screenshot) and the ND? Thank you!

Cheers,
Richard

Thanks for quick response. My Radnav page is the same as yours on Aerosoft A319. Is CF27 a change from ILQ and in the PFD, should it not show ILQ rather than ILVR? Once I turn onto CF22 I am unable to capture the 27 ILS. Have re-installed the A219 and airac 2101/

Further info ILS into EGCC shows correct indentify in PFD and attached at EGNS show correct identifier in PFD and ILS established on the ILS. This problem appears to happen on my local designated airport EGGP!

Do you have any 3rd parry addon scenery installed? Because I can’t reproduce it it P3D also. I have checked the data too but there is no wrong ident, nor a wrong frequency … so it must something others.

Cheers
Richard

I have being using EGGP UK2000 for many years and never had this problem before. As I normally fly out/in of EGGP the ILS facilities have always been essential. I also have the MSFS EGGP addon and get ILVR rather than ILQ. Will de-install the EGGP UK2000 and see what happens with the default EGGP.
Thanks for your support and interest.

P3D AEROSOFT A319

RADNAV ILQ 111.75
WITH DEFAULT EGGP AND WITH EGGP UK2000 INATALLED.
PFD REMAINS ON ILVR

MSFS FBW A320

RADNAV ILQ 111.75
WITH DEFAULT EGGP AND WITH EGGP ORBX INSTALLED.
PFD REMAINS ON ILVR

The only thing that I can think of that is common to the two
installations is that both have been freshly installed on
my newly built PC whose operating system is Windows ll.
I loaded an old AIRAC 2018 which had previously worked but
the PFD this time was stuck on ILVR.

The ILS ID display in the PFD is dependent upon your position to the airport.

In your first snapshot you remain West of the airport and ILVR is displayed.

Having tested here using the FSL A320 in P3Dv5 ILQ is displayed on approach to RWY27 but switches to ILVR when upwind as the ILS is the same freq for 09. No issues with ILS intercept.

egcc rwy23R
egcc 05L
eggp 27
eggp 09
P3D default EGCC and EGGP.
EGCC changes identifier but EGGP doesn’s change over from ILVR. Refreshed P3D software.

Sorry, but I can’t see any data issue here. I don’t know where the issue is, but what I have checked now, the data are correct. We have no influence of any logic in addons/sceneries how they interpret the data.

Sorry
Richard

Understood, and thanks again for interest and support
