Please add a transparent, movable compass tool with a ruler indicating distance (or simply a ruler with heading and distance info) to calculate carrying over of headings from one waypoint to another while creating or modifying a flight plan.
I know there’s already the user waypoint functionality that allows to add custom waypoints to a flight plan, but what if we want to create those waypoints within the FMS from a given place with bearing and distance information? Or create a mere DME arc? For now, we can’t visualize proper headings and distances on the map. I have to go to Google Earth to get such a tool, which also requires to take account of the heading discrepancies between GE information and the chart information.
So, such an addition would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
