on Edge pop-ups Windows like weather lookup etc are shown but are blank… this happens when using the allday profile, in incognito it works.
The dialogue opens, and isnt blank… the text is just invisible… as you can see the mouse courser points to a textbox (the cursor layout changes when hovering over)
To get it work i had to RESET Edge completely, no just deleting cookies etc… then it worked for 1 day and since yesterday it isnt working again…
I have not seen this before.
Do you have any browser extensions installed (ad blockers, privacy tools, etc)? Incognito disables most browser extensions I believe, which is why it might be working better. It also might explain why resetting the browser only fixes it temporarily.

indeed, it was a “instagram download” extension which hides the content… makes sense when i think about it: The extension creates 2 buttons on IG Posts as a CSS Overlay or something and Simbrief and IG may use some identical css elements ?! just my theory… i thought about extensions and had deactivated some like adblocker etc … that a IG Extension is responsible… fascinating (and maybe usefull when i need a technique like this in a project or sth.)
