Always need to toggle day/night mode

This is a really minor issue but just a little bit annoying and since I couldn’t find any post on this I decided to write.

I usually have the charts in night mode but when I start the app it’s always in day mode despite the fact that the icon shows I’m in night mode. I have to “double click” the day/night mode icon in order to get to night mode. Here’s a picture of what I mean:

I suggest a fresh start using exact procedure below :

Please disable any Antivirus and firewall. Uninstall AV if needed.

Please use only Windows Programs and Features to uninstall Simlink and Charts:

  • If they exist delete folders:
    c:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Navigraph\Simlink
    c:\Program Files\Navigraph\Simlink
    c:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Navigraph\Charts c:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Programs\Navigraph Charts
  • Download and install latest Charts .
  • Download and install latest Simlink .

Yep, that old trick worked. Thank you :slight_smile:

However, there was no need to download Simlink separately since it came with the Carts download. When it started I was asked if I wanted to download the latest Simlink version though.

Well, I was wrong. It worked the first time but now when I started up the computer again I get the same issue.

This is an infrequent occurrence. I for one can’t make it occur. As you say double click changes the mode. It should be eliminated with next major Charts version in development.
