Stuck in endless updates

Hi,
my desktop client seems to constantly update (about once per day, sometimes even more often). I’ve been monitoring the version number and it alternates between 7.4.3 and 7.5.0.
I’ve tried uninstalling the client and installing one from an installer dowloaded from the site and it did not fix the issue. The client forced an “update” back to 7.4.3 to bug me about updating to 7.5.0.
This issue is especially annoying as it can happen mid-flight. I try to get back to the charts app only to see that it has already started yet another update.

Ok. It updated and I’ve restarted the app to see… an update ready because the app is back to 7.4.3.

I suggest a fresh start using exact procedure below :

Please disable any Antivirus and firewall. Uninstall AV if needed.

Please use only Windows Programs and Features to uninstall Simlink and Charts:

  • If they exist delete folders:
    c:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Navigraph\Simlink
    c:\Program Files\Navigraph\Simlink
    c:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Navigraph\Charts c:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Programs\Navigraph Charts
  • Download and install latest Charts .
  • Download and install latest Simlink .

Thank you. Doing a complete clean install appears to have solved the issue.
