yes i know this Button, but my suggestion was more about Zooming in.
Also please know that i am using a Tablet in my Homecockpit, so i have no middle Mouse Scrollrad
The 2-Finger Zooming is sometimes a bit difficult if you want to zoom in fast to see the Taxiaways and then again zoom out to see where you are
after some more tests on the Tablet, have you tried to use the 2 Finger Zoom to zoom in from the Overview zoom ( restore button ) down to the Airport until you see the Taxiways ?
Since a Tablet has no mouse roller wheel you have to use the 2 Finger Zoom, which is not comfortable.
Open the chart so it fills the whole area of the chart display in width. Or “fit to width” I believe it’s called. So you dont see the full pdf but you can actually read it and only need to scroll up and down.
I mean obviously, I’m not talking about everyone. But so that people like me can actually read it
In this scenario we don’t have a button to quickly jump to to ground level. I guess it could be done somehow but then it would only make sense if moving maps was enabled and the aircraft was on the ground. We do have some plans in this regard so we’ll keep this suggestion in mind.
I am even using Navigraph on a windows tablet in homecockpit.
It would be great to have a setting option “Zoom on ground level” which causes
switching from charts to map view
activate “Center view”
whenever the AC is moving on the ground > 5 kts longer 5 sec. meaning
– it does not switch to that mode while flight planning
– it does not switch to that mode while “in flight”
– it does switch to that mode if the AC moves on ground for taxi
– it does switch to that mode if the AC moves on ground after landing
