YBBN RNP 19L-Y (X-plane 12)

Approach is too high - airport scenery is the Brisbane YBBN X-plane version found on the Orbx store.

I’m using the latest Navigraph - could this be looked into?

Thank you,

Ben

Hi Ben,
Without the 3rd party scenery too?

Cheers
Richard

Hi Richard, yes even with the 3rd party disabled the aircrat is too high.

which approach are you talking about? Your post title says RNP19L-Y which does not exist at YBBN. Your screenshot shows RNAV19L-S.

The -S approach is designed to come in high - if you look at the chart, it says “Caution: Only use procedure when threshold RWY19L is displaced 2917’ (889m)”. So this procedure is designed that 889m of pavement are unusable. You have to land almost a kilometer into the runway. This procedure is likely related to construction going on at the north end of the runway.

Yes I mean -S, thank you for the clarification. I will have another proper read of the chart.

Do you know what happen to the -P approach seen in this real world video? It is not on navigraph.

probably an airline-specfic procedure. There are no charts for it, so it’s probably tailored for one specific operator and only they get the data and the charts.
