Xbox User MSFS 2024 SU4 PMDG 777 300

I’m attempting to use the FMC to enter the following plan:

KDEN/25 N0491F300 ZIMMR3 ZIMMR DCT OCS CARTR1 KSLC/16R

under the DEP there are no SIDS shown, and under ARR there are no STARS shown.

Using the EFB Navigation Data Update Page, I tried installing the latest AIRAC but it hangs at about 80% done.

What am I doing wrong? If this is a known issue are there any workarounds for Xbox users?

Hi…,

Please make sure you have the latest PMDG 777-300 version.

Please see PMDG 777 Navdata Xbox - #11 by Gimbal .

As I recall the update may have been successful even though it appears to stall. Please check the FMC to confirm.

Otherwise you will need to take this up with PMDG.

Cheers

Ian

Thank you for the reply. However I’m confused by the link to solution you provided. To me it seems to involve clearing a cache on a PC. Since I’m on Xbox I am unable to perform the steps listed.

Also I believe all aircraft in MSFS 2024 are streamed. That would mean I always have the latest version.

Can you elaborate more on what you mean by check the FMC to confirm? When I was messing around earlier today, I vaguely remember seeing an AIRAC version in the FMC with a very old date stamp. I’ll check again tomorrow.

Thanks again

You should be able to update your PMDG 777-300 to the latest version using MSFS 2024 marketplace?

Once you have done this, does the UFT (EFB) update of AIRAC still stop at 80%?

Cheers

Ian

yes my MSFS 2024 library has the latest version of the PMDG 777 300. However if I look at the FMC AIRAC version it is from APR18MAY16/2024. The nav data update still hangs unfortunately. This smells like a PMDG or simulator issue so I created a case with PMDG.
