I’m new in reading charts. So I need som help.
Looking at approach for LXGB RW27, there is a “radar vectors to point YANKEE” and a “YANKEE RADAR fix”. What is this point. I can’t find it as a WP when I search i Navigraph charts, so is it not a real point?
Take a look at 6.0 DME, there is no FIX NAME. The Radar fix indicates that ATC can identify this fix for you via their radar. Per the chart they will give you vectors to YANKEE. This approach is a surveillance radar type approach. Basically ATC gives you lateral guidance. There will be no procedures in FMC database for this type of approach.
