EDLV ILS 27 NDB discrepancy

Hi,
In the 19 MAR 21 chart 11-1 for EDLV NEIDERRHEIN the charts ILS or LOC Rwy 27 has the ndb LAA depicted on the top down picture but on the side-view it is LMM.

I have the latest AIRAC of the Navigraph charts.

Hi Jan,
What do you mean by “side view”?

Can you please post a screenshot so that we can check it?

Thank you very much
Richard

I believe this is what they are referring to

And the LIDO chart seem to have this correct

Thanks, it seems to be a typo. We will report this to Jeppesen.

Thank you very much
Richard

Hi,

Ok. Thanks!

Best Regards / Jan

Hi,
We have re-checked it, and we believe this is not a typo, as I also thought in my first answer.

It’s an NDB (Locator) collocated with a marker (in this case, a middle marker). So it’s an LMM. You also see that the Morse code (red) equals the NDB and the range (in yellow), like the OM.

In other words, LMM is not a typo and means LAA; it is a middle marker beacon with the NDB locator.

Hope that helps
Richard
