WBSB ILS Localizer

The Localizer os not aligned with runway for WBSB. Need help

Hi…,

Welcome.

Thank you for reporting this. We are investigating.

Cheers
Ian

Thanks Ian. I tested it with both the default scenery and custom scenery.

I noticed this too today. Both on MFSG scenery and default scenery. Has this been looked into?
Regards
Ralf

Hi Ralf,
thanks for the report - the localizer coodinates were wrong and the AIP is changed now and offers the correct coordinates (you see this on the blank line on the left side). I assume, that Brunei reports this to Jeppesen in the next time.

The red button is the current position according our data, the blue one the new position according the AIP Brunei - so it looks good, that we can expect the correct position in one of the next cycles. We have incluence how and when the countries reports this to Jeppesen, sorry but as you see, it looks good now and I´m pretty sure, that this will be fixed soon.

Thanks again for the hint,
Richard

Hi, want to ask for clarification, has this new coordinate ever implemented in the navdata? I take a look at the earth_nav.dat for XP11, current cycle, it still showing the wrong coordinate. I copied the coordinate and paste it on the Google Maps and it pins precisely where the red pin on your screenshot located.

Also can you please take a look at the localizer for runway 03. It always guide me and also my friends to the right side of the runway. I take a look at the earth_nav.dat and the coordinate looks good. I also crosschecked the runway threshold coordinate of the scenery with the runway coordinate on the CIFP file, i found no significant difference between the two so not quiet sure what happened there.

Christo

Hi Christo,
I can confirm that the localizer is still in the wrong position. AIRAC 2604 is ready, but I will prepare a change with the next AIRAC 2605. The loc position for runway 03 is correct, as I see it.

Thanks for your report.

Cheers,
Richard
