UT94 Airstrip - wrong elevation issue - deep hole in the ground

UT94 - Locomotive Springs Airport - seems to have wrong elevation data (0ft instead of 4232ft) causing it to be in a deep hole. Problem only occuring when navigraph-navdata is installed.

Hi,
thanks for the report - I have looked into the MSFS data and the airport altitude is 4232 feet, according the real-world FAA data.

Here from our source, which we use for the MSFS data:

… and here directly from the FAA database:

… and last, here directly when you read the BGLs via LNM:

So, you see in all three screenshots exactly the same values - I can´t see any elevation issue - but it´s possible that the DEMs are not 100% correct in MSFS here and therefore the wrong elevation (isn´t the first time - there are a lot of such reports all over the world even when you don´t have installed our data).

UT94 isn´t included in the stock data, therefore it can only be happen with our data but again, the settings seems to be correct as you see in the screenshots. Sorry.

Cheers,
Richard

Hi again,
I have found a solution for this - I will built a new revision in the next couple of hours, which should solve this DEM issue. Please be patience, thank you!

Cheers,
Richard

Thank you very much! We just did an online multiplayer group flight in that area - and had a lot of fun trying land on a runway 4232ft below the surface, which turned out to be impossible

Hi,
revision 2 is out now - please update the AIRAC cycle via our Navigraph Hub. This revision should fix the DEM issue on VFR airports. Thanks for your patience.

Cheers,
Richard
