TUMBE departure out of KTNX

Hiya,

I flew out of KTNX in the PMDG 737 yesterday and it appears the most recent AIRAC has had the TUMBE waypoint removed and there is no longer the option for the TUMBE departure either.

It still looks to be a valid departure so wondering if it has been removed for a reason or is it a bug?

Many Thanks,

Scott

Hi Scott,
no, according the FAA, there is no TUMBE Sid available out of KTNX (at least since the current cycle).

Hope that helps
Richard

Ok no probs, just thought I’d check :slightly_smiling_face:

… but it looks, that this departure is really existing but it seems that this is a special procedure which is not included in the standard.

Will check it again to verify it …

Cheers

Super, many thanks. Appreciate it.

Hi again Scott,
what I have figured out now is, that this procedure is designed to support high performance military aircraft operations and are not intended for civilian use.

You see this on the hash marks on the procedure page of the FAA chart …

So, I guess thats the reason why this chart and also the data for this TUMBE procedure is not included in our data - because we use only civil procedures and not military only procedures.

Cheers
Richard
