Too many waypoints

Good evening folks,

I’ve been using Navigraph Charts for some months now (maybe a year) and I’ve noticed recently that the number of wpt between two airports has skyrocketted. For example between LFPG and OMDB I have sth like 80 different wpts.

Any ideas how to reduce it without having to delete these wpts manually ?

Hi,
I would recommend to use Simbrief and transfer the valid route in the charts than (or directly in the addon). The routes in Simbrief will be validated, the auto-route in our charts not. Both use different calculations therefore the different results.

I have tried your example (LFPG to OMDB) in Simbrief and here I get half the amount of waypoints:
