Strange Behavior Navigraph HUB Updates

Hello. This may be a known issue, apologies if so, but I am unable to finish installing NH updates


. I keep getting repeated buttons saying, Remove, Install, Remove Install, etc. See screenshot. Happens with both MSFS 2020 and 2024.

Please elaborate. In your screenshot, it looks like you have successfully installed everything. Do those buttons revert to “Install” after restart? What exactly is happening?

Sorry, I was a bit cryptic in my message. I’ll try to be more precise. When I open the Hub, the first clickable buttons indicate REMOVE. I click REMOVE and INSTALL appears, all good. I then click INSTALL, and REMOVE again appears. If I run the same install cycle I continue to get REMOVE after I try to install. Using latest version of NH.

Perhaps I should remove and reinstall NH?

Hmm, I don’t understand what the issue is. This sounds entirely expected!

The button that is visible on each package has four states:

Install (Purple)

This indicates that the package is available and that you may install it by pressing the button.

Installing (Yellow)

This indicates that Navigraph Hub is currently installing the package. Hang tight!

Remove (Red)

Your package is installed correctly, and you may remove it anytime by pressing the button.

Update (Green)

An update is available for this package, which can be installed by pressing the button.

This means that the button is fully expected to say “Remove” immediately after you have installed a package. Please let me know if there is something that I do not understand correctly here - from what I gather, what you are seeing is the app working as intended!

Goodness. This qualifies as one of my most embarrassing moments. Clearly a brain cramp on my part. All good now. Thanks for your help sir!

Thanks for your patience. As I was checking the hub for an update, My brain saw “REMOVE” so that’s what I did, like a Lemming. :grin:. So I removed it, reinstalled, saw REMOVE again, rinse and repeat, and hence my infinite loop of stupidity. :rofl:
