Step descend ignored

I was trying to get a more suitable cruise flight level and added a step descend to the following route. SimBrief however ignores the “restriction” and plans a much to high level. The RIBSO STAR has a FL110 or below constraint at RIBSO as shortcuts to final are very common. Could you have a look into this? Maybe I got something wrong.

Hi Falk,

This is currently a limitation in SimBrief. It will ignore any step altitudes if they occur during the descent phase.

Because your cruise altitude is F370, the TOD occurs before RIBSO, therefore the custom altitude you set at RIBSO is ignored since you’re already descending. You’d need to set a custom descent prior to RIBSO, for example at MUBZI.
