Hi, I have Navigraph Charts running on a client PC. It worked fine for the longest time, but now I get the error message: " Could not connect to simulator, simlink needs to be running.
Wuestion: does simlink have to run on simulator PC (MSFS2020) as well as client PC?
Thanks for reply

Simlink must be installed and running on the computer running the flight simulator (and only on that computer).
Simlink communicates between the simulator and Navigraph servers. It obtains the aircraft position and other parameters from the simulator (locally/directly, hence why it must be installed and running on the same computer as the simulator itself) and sends that information to Navigraph servers (via the internet).
The “clients” (e.g. Navigraph Charts) then obtain the aircraft position and so on from the Navigraph servers via the internet.
Regards,
Tim
Thanks Tim, I will correct this.

Tim, I thought that simlink was running, but there was an update to be installed. After I updated SimLink, signed back in everything is working. Thanks for detailed response. Juergen
