Recently i have a issue with Simlink. Its impossible to see the plane on chart. I use Fs2020 with windows 10. I reinstall Navigraph and Simplink and always nothing. On simlink status window i see the log of plane at the airport, so I understand that simlink is related to the simulator, so why the message : Could not connect to simulator.
Thanks for your answer
Thank you but I’m disappointed, I will try but I am far from certain to succeed, its too complicated.
I’ll probably have to do without Simlink and maybe Navigraph because solving the problem is beyond my computer skills. I don’t understand why a change of MSFS airports upsets everything. Navigraph should perhaps be able to find the solution by providing a new Simlink link for Fs2020. I can’t believe every Simlink user will have this problem to solve.
We have thousands of users using Simlink without problems. We have a small number with issues on their systems which can generally be fixed with the steps suggested. Please try and let us know how you get on. We shall help to get you going
Hi Jean! Sorry to hear that you are having issues with Simlink.
In addition to the instructions send by @Ian , I would like to point out a detail that I think could very well be the culprit: You are most likely using two different accounts in Simlink and Charts!
The account you are currently using to post in this forum is not the same as the one shown being signed into Simlink in your screenshot. The account in the screenshot also does not have a subscription, so it cannot possibly be the one that you used to sign into Navigraph Charts (which requires a subscription).
Please sign out of Simlink and make sure to sign in with the account that you are currently using to post here! The username in the area highlighted below should match that of your forum user.
This will more than likely get you up and running! If not, please proceed with the steps provided above!
Thank you very much, you identified the problem very well, it was only the name of the account holder on Simlink account. Thank you again for your good advice, you and your team are very available and competent.
I assume you know Skyfall from navigraph, he wrote to me and he found the source of the problem. I attach to this copy of his transmission. Thanks again for your time and dedication to customer satisfaction.
thanks Ian
