Simlink doesnt work

Hello
After a week not flying i tried navigraph again today and cant get simlink to work. It opens up in task manager but on your right hand side bottom task bar nothing opens up there like it used to.
I restored my windows
reinstalled it like 10 times still noting

I’m using mfs2020

Just gives me no simulator error on live maps.

Can someone help me i don’t know what to do anymore

Welcome to our new forum.

Please:

  1. See FAQ - Simlink Install and Systray
  2. Use Windows to uninstall Simlink.
  3. If they exist delete folders c:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Navigraph\Simlink and c:\Program Files\Navigraph\Simlink
  4. Download and install latest Simlink .

Tried what you said and still no icon in sys tray.

Hi Jan,

From Windows Start button search for and run Navigraph Simlink.

Do you have icon in Systray now?

No i dont have the icon and when i start it says it already running stopped the program a few times in task manager but still no luck

Hi Jan,

You mentioned a week of not flying. Was Simlink working before. What changes on you system since it was working e.g. Windows updates, Antivirus updates, new software ?

Try restarting Windows, disabling Antivirus then steps as above:

  1. Use Windows to uninstall Simlink.
  2. If they exist delete folders c:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Navigraph\Simlink and c:\Program Files\Navigraph\Simlink
  3. Download and install latest Simlink .

Please upload latest dlog and log from c:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Navigraph\Simlink\logs
