Hello

I need your support, I have XPlane 11, and I do file a flight plan on simbrief. But when I put the route data in the MCDU of a jar design airbus 320 or 330 the MCDU doesn’t know the SIDS and STARS procedure that is in simbrief so I’m wondering what’s the problems. Should I update xplane or the AIRAC or something has to do with navigraph.

Hi,
It depends … You should be using the same AIRAC cycle yes, so that the route planning and the addon FMS are in sync.

Procedure idents will be updated from timw to time and it’s possible, that you are using a newer/older procedure in Simbrief which doesn’t exist in XP11 any longer.

So, it’s highly recommended, that all systems are in sync (means uses the same AIRAC cycle) and in the best case, that the AIRAC is current.

On which airport are the procedures missing?

via the FMS Data Manager, which can be downloaded from here

Let the scan run and update your X-Plane plus all founded addons with the latest cycle.

In SimBrief, activate the latest AIRAC cycle and thats it. You should be in-sync than between SimBrief and X-Plane.

so you mean;

  1. download the FMS data manager (the link you sent)
  2. Subscribe to the latest AIRAC in simbrief website then automatically xplane will extract everything i did and update it self
