SID error? YSCB

When inputting a SID (e.g. WG2) for Rwy35 YSCB, the first waypoint (DER35) displayed on any FMC is behind the aircraft (i.e. pertaining to Rwy17). Should this waypoint be eliminated?

Hi…,

DER 35 is the Departure End Runway for RWY 35 so is at the northern end of RWY 35:

The SID WG2 requires passing over the DER 35:

So it should be part of the WG2 SID.

thanks Ian
But the FMC draws it differently from your plan above and the aircraft follows this
Should users then delete DER35 to counteract this?

You haven’t said which aircraft, but I recall having a similar experience with one aircraft, I forget which.

The navigation data is correct but the display and maybe flight tracking is not. As a work around, delete the DER 35 from the FMC, and fly over the end of runway before turning to GUTMO.

Hi Ian
777 and 737 PMDG MSFS2020
Good advice thanks and greatly appreciate your help

You are welcome.

Happy flying.

Ian

I’m getting the same error with all the SIDs from RWY 35 at YSCB in the PMDG 777 in MSFS2020. It shows the first leg in the FMC to DER35 as being a heading of 170 degrees, instead of the 353ish of subsequent waypoints.

However when I tried the Fenix A320 the heading was 346 degree, which is correct. So it appears to be a PMDG issue.
