EIDW RWY28R wrong course

Hello,
I would report a bug/problem in Dublin

As you can see in the screenshot, the course to DE28R is wrong (095 instead of 277 or 285, please check), resulting in a strange turn after departure. The pictured SID is the PESI2J, but other ones with the same initial climb procedures have the same problem too. Is the bug only on my side or is an AIRAC issue? I would recommend to check all the procedures in Dublin, especially for RWY 28R.

P.S B737NG PMDG, MSFS 2020, MK Studios scenery, I use Navigraph HUB for AIRAC updates

@Ian I’ve just seen your reply, but i can’t find it now. By the way, i tried to uninstall the scenery and Airac, but none of them solves the problem.

Hi…,

We feel this is a PMDG issue.

The issue here is the first waypoint, which is too close to the a/c position, and therefore the PMDG can’t calculate the track correctly and “skip” this first waypoint.

The result looks so … Is this only an ND issue or a “flying” issue.

Can you fly the procedure?

Cheers
Ian

Hi Ian,
Yes of course, I flew the initial part manually, following the track on the charts, but it is a little bit tricky because immediately after departure i have to give in the FMC a DIR TO to next waypoint while controlling the aircraft. Even though it is not a big deal, I would point out that in other airports, with similiar procedures and vicinity to the runway, the PMDG just works fine, so maybe it is not airplane’s fault. Maybe it is just a wrong runway course in the nav database.

Its a known PMDG issue:

Ah perfect, thank you so much. So let’s hope PMDG fixes this as soon as possible.
