PMDG 737-8 freezes when I upload flightplan

The entire sim freezes after I import a flight plan from the web based app or with the internal MSFS interface. This is after I load the flight plan in the settings. Normally once ia flight plan is updated, I have no issues. I would like to import flight plans either with the app or within the sim.

This may be a coincidence, but typically when I upload a flight plan into the FMS, the more detailed flight plan is usually green- which usually includes the flight number ex. AAL2732. Lately I have only been able to import the airport and the destination, and then I have to manually enter the flight name.

What I expected to happen.

Clarify your expectations. It’s easier to understand the anticipated
behavior and determine whether it’s truly a bug or a usability issue that
needs to be reviewed.

What actually happened

Please describe what happened in a way that enables us to find the problem
without follow-up questions. For instance, saying “the charts do not work”
or “login is broken” doesn’t help. To the extent that it is possible, please provide clear steps to reproduce the
problem. Screenshots and error messages are helpful and encouraged!

Hello Ian, the latest version for PMDG is 3.0.100. I looked in the MSFS store, this is the most recent update available.

I was able to replicate the issue

step1:

step 2:

This is when it freezes. Notice the blue button- completely frozen.

Try updating, using the PMDG Operations Center v2.

Ian

I purchased from MSFS store. I thought the up

I updated OpsCenter, and its stating that that it will update via MSFS store. Problem is the store doesn’t have an update ready.

I was suggesting the latest version in case the problem might have been solved by the update. With MSFS marketplace, it can take a while before the update is released.

Maybe you can upload using image above, your flight plan in both text and rte format, and I could try it on my system.

Cheers
Ian

I too am having problems and posted this to MSFS:

“I updated this today and I went through their procedure and now I can’t find their plugin, except via their manager And now I get the following to check my
internet. It’s fine!” It may be Navigraph’s issue.

this is the IFLy MAX8…

for the person with the PMDG problem update the op center from file in the top left. then install the newest version. if its not that then uninstall the pmdg and redownload it from PMDG.com then try it. if not then you dont have a legit copy of the PMDG

It’s a legit copy. If the update is not released within the MSFS store, then how would downloading a fresh version work?

OPS center will not update MSFS marketplace versions.

Also, I deleted the old version, and the new download is the old version…

I am trying to fly the IFly Max and have gone though many iterations to download the latest update but to no avail. I still get “Connecting to Navigraph server…and when I try my alias get what you see above.

Do your pilot ID from simbrief in your account

Ahh okay so you have to wait for tye update to come out on the marketplace then
