Pause my charts account

Hello, I bought a Navigraph Charts subscription for a year and then found out I dont need most of its functions. I sent an email asking if I could pause my subscription for a few months and I was told no we dont do that. Now I am reading in many posts about pausing their subscription for various reasons. Why am I not granted the same courtisy? I asked 6 months ago and fell like I was just pushed off by someone who did not want to take the time to help me when they said Navigraph does not do that. Now, after reading many posts and seeing the comments/advice from Navigraph staff like Stephan et al, pausing an account does happen for some clients.
Anyways, all I want is what I thought I was buying in the first place.
I bought charts and really only needed or used VFR info.
I dont feel like I recieved what I was told about in your advertising that said I would have an enhansed flight experience with your product. Then whan I contated Navigraph and asked for a pause with my annual subscription, you said no we dont do that. Now I have read enough posts to see that you do offer pauses for some but not for me or others. Why? Anyways, I am a VFR student pilot trying to train for a real life PPL using your product. Might be my bad for buying a full subscription to your good service and that is on me but I remember reading that what I did buy would help me with my sim pilot setup but it really hasent. My bad? or just you not providing enough info for the VFR student? Not sure, dont care. All I asked was to pause my account when I had about 6 months of time left only to be denighed.

My annual subscription is only a few weeks away from conclusion and I want to express that I do not want you to do an auto renew on my account! Several of my flying friends are also watching how this plays out plus a few more who reccomended me to try your service.

Please send me a reccomendation on how your service can support me as a VFR student. Also, please let me know why I was denighed a pause on my charts account when I see that othewrs have been granted that courtsy.
