P3Dv5.3 - could not connect to simulator

Navi Charts work
no moving map
This is a new computer and only one version of P3D has been on this computer - V5.3
Anti-virus is off
DNS is fine

Every time I check the plug-in status, it tries to plug into MFS 2020 - I’ve never had MFS on this computer. I think you can see that in the log.

Thoughts or suggestions. Thanks a bunch.

In Simlink Plugin Settings, Uninstall Simlink for P3D v5. Press Scan and Install to have Simlink reinstalled in P3D v5.

Restart machine. Any improvement?

Hi Ian, I tried the suggestions and still same outcome. Every time I click on plugin settings, it tries to connect to MFS first before it disappears. Is that normal? Could that be causing confusion?

The P3D.exe is located on C drive so I switched to the C drive but still had the same outcome.

Thank you for providing the log file. Upon reviewing the log file, it appears that P3D is not loading the Simlink plugins. Please consider the following points:

  1. To verify the P3D plugins configuration, if you are using any third-party plugins with P3D, please check if those plugins are loaded or not.
  2. Check the registry for P3D plugins configuration.
  3. Ensure that you have installed the P3D version correctly.

Thanks for the ideas. However, for all points, I’m not too sure where to find the info ?? Plz provide guidance or examples.

I believe these are my 3rd party plugins?? If so, all are operating correctly.

Hello,

In P3D Flight Simulator, there is an option to enable or disable add-ons.
Please verify the status of the Navigraph Simlink add-on in P3D → Options → Addon Settings. Ensure that the check mark is checked as per the attached screenshot.

If the Navigraph Simlink Addon is not listed in the P3D Addon list, please close the P3D flight simulator and reinstall the Simlink Plugins. Alternatively, if the Simlink Plugins are listed, verify that the Navigraph Simlink plugin is enabled.

Kindly inform us if you encounter any issues with the Navigraph Product.
