No line in between SID and STAR

When creating a flightplan in Navigraph Charts (both Desktop as In-Game Panel) I usually end up with a flightplan consisting of a SID and a STAR with nothing in between them. No line there. I thought the program would fill in a solid line in between.

I then add myself a waypoint at the end of the SID or the STAR and then a dotted line usually is drawn in between.

Am I doing something wrong?

Re-installed the software (just over the existing install) and now the problem is gone.
