I just thought of something that may be unique to my situation, and maybe a minority of other users. I often have two separate browsers running (in my case, Chrome and Brave). Is it possible that Navigraph Charts checks in with the ‘wrong’ browser on startup that happens to not be logged in to Navigraph services?
This might explain the intermittent nature of the issue.
Hmm, no not necessarily. The application keeps track of its own signed-in state without the help of a browser. The browser is only used when signing in! In fact, you could uninstall all browsers on your computer and still be able to use the app and sign in!
Let me know if you see the issue again now that you have that version installed!
Hello everyone! We are working on some changes to the way that your session is resumed, both after waking the computer and on startup of the app. We hope that these changes will improve the situation, and we hope to be able to include some progress in the next update!
The recently released version 8.32.0 includes the results of months of testing (excluding the holidays of course), with the end goal of reducing unwanted (and unexpected) signouts. The situation should have improved a lot!
Please give it a go and let us know if you still have issues (or even better - if you find that it seems to work well!).
