Hello all, I would like to inform you that by installing Airac 2409 rev.1 to the MSFS, runways 17R and 17L of the SCEL airport disappear. Therefore, the STARs do not appear.
Hi,
Please report rhis to MS/ASOBO, this is a MSFS limitation. When you look on the real world charts you will see that there is no runway 17R available … only 19 and 17L.
Due the logic in the MSFS the terminal procedures will be disabled when the MSFS can’t assign a runway even when they are included as in our case (for runway 19 of course).
So, please report this to MS/ASOBO - the scenery is outdated.
Cheers
Richard
PS: the search feature here works very well. There are a lot of topics/question to exactly this situation - thank you
Thank you very much for the clarification, but I still don’t understand why it is MSFS’s fault, if the “problem” only occurs when AIRAC from Navigraph is installed and with the default MSFS nav data both tracks are enabled (17L and 17R
and when the AIRAC is installed, only tracks 35R and 35L are present.
Thanks
Because in real life, there is no runway 17R available and therefore the stock scenery and the stock navdata are outdated and wrong.
Cheers
Richard
Seems Rwy 17R has now reopened (and Rwy 19 that was effective during WIP was superseded) as per Jeppesen revision 19-2024 (September 13). It will probably appear in next Navigraph update (2410). So, just wait until then
Cheers
Hervé
